Parkinson's disease (PD) is a progressive neurodegenerative condition, the cause of which is not completely understood. A number of nutrients or dietary factors have been investigated for their role in the prevention, development or progression of PD. At the present time, the condition is managed primarily by medications, surgical interventions and physical therapy.
