[C] The following conclusions are supported by limited evidence or expert opinion:

Sweeteners (e.g. nonnutritive, artificial, intense, low calorie, sugar substitutes) do not affect glycemic control or key indicators in individuals with diabetes. 
Sugar alcohols have a limited impact on blood glucose levels. Evidence on the glycemic response to sugar alcohols in individuals with diabetes is limited to small short-term studies.
