Bio:
Sarah Buchanan is a registered clinical dietitian at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre at the University Health Network. She is the primary dietitian for the gastrointestinal cancer, genitourinary cancer, gynaecological cancer and sarcoma programs. In addition to patient care, Sarah has an interest in education and contributes nutrition articles to the centre’s patient education newsletter on a regular basis and participates in the interprofessional education of the radiation therapy students at the Michener Institute. Sarah graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition and completed her dietetic internship with the University Health Network. After graduation, she worked as a diabetes educator with LMC Diabetes & Endocrinology before joining Princess Margaret.
