Bio:Janice Joneja holds a Ph.D. in medical microbiology and immunology. She has held faculty positions at University of British Columbia (UBC), and has taught at universities and colleges in Canada, the U.S.A., and the U.K. For 12 years she was head of the Allergy Nutrition Program at the Vancouver Hospital and Health Science Centre. Dr. Joneja is currently an adjunct professor in the UBC Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, and an Honorary Research Fellow in the School of Biosciences at the University of Birmingham in England. She has authored four books and a dietetic practice manual on food allergy, several distance education courses, and instructional videos.
