Bio:
Mark Weir works at Health Canada in the area of compliance and enforcement for the regulation of health products. His past experiences include conducting research in public and health care professional perceptions of emerging health technologies including genomics and genetic tests. His interests are broad, having completed a Bachelor of Science in Genetics with honours, a Diploma in Ethics and a Master of Science in Health Science. For his thesis he examined interprofessional models of care for the ethically challenging situation of extremely premature birth.
