Healthy Food Guidelines for First Nations Communities
This First Nations Health Council booklet includes comprehensive guidelines on healthy eating including healthy foods to serve at schools, meetings, homes, cultural and recreational events and in restaurants. Information on traditional foods, promoting healthy eating in community programs, improving local food security and recipes are also provided. The appendices contain client handouts on a variety of healthy eating topics to assist individuals in making healthy choices.
