With the exception of one RCT (randomized control trial) on caffeine intake, there are no controlled trials evaluating the effect of specific dietary restrictions on increasing or alleviating interstitial cystitis (IC) symptoms (e.g. pain, discomfort, urgency) in individuals diagnosed with IC.
