Sample PES Statements (problem, etiology, signs and symptoms using some NCP terminology)
These statements are provided as examples only, and will not apply to all individuals:
- Inadequate oral intake, related to unsupported beliefs/attitudes about food, nutrition and nutrition-related information with regard to foods appropriate for IC; as evidenced by a diet history that shows limited variety of only five foods eaten over the past two months.
- Unintended weight loss, related to food and
