[B] The following conclusions are supported by fair evidence:

Evidence from a series of short-term studies conducted in individuals with type 1, 2 and gestational diabetes, comparing the accuracy of log books and meter memory indicates that the self-reporting self-monitoring of blood glucose (SMBG) results is subject to errors.
 
It is important that health care professionals confirm the accuracy of SMBG results by downloading the glucose meter memory data and reviewing the results.
