Description 
Uncomplicated gastroesophageal reflux (GER) is relatively common in healthy infants and generally resolves between six and 12 months of age. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) generally manifests in poor weight gain, esophagitis, occult blood loss, persistent respiratory symptoms or failure to thrive.
