[A] The following conclusions are supported by good evidence:
A meta-analysis of cross-sectional studies found lower blood omega-3 fatty acid levels in individuals with ADHD compared to controls.
A meta-analysis of RCTs using polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) supplements (short- and long-chain omega-3 and/or omega-6 supplements) for treating children with ADHD have produced mixed results on ADHD symptoms. Studies finding positive results suggest modest improvements only. Supplementation of EFA
