Data from clinical trials does not support a benefit of vitamin E supplements for the prevention and/or slowing of the progression of Alzheimer's disease. Vitamin E supplements higher than 400 IU/day (268 mg/day) are not recommended for primary or secondary prevention of Alzheimer's disease due to the possible adverse effects.
Clinical trials have not shown a benefit of B-vitamin supplements (vitamin B12,
