[C] The following conclusions are supported by limited evidence or expert opinion:

Anecdotal reports and self-reported data suggest some foods may increase or decrease gas and odour in ostomates. Despite the lack of clinical trials, there is a general consensus on the types of foods that are associated with these symptoms, which may vary slightly between individuals. Methods to decrease the swallowing of air have also been proposed to reduce gas.
