Nutrition monitoring and evaluation should relate to the multiple components of MetS (obesity, dyslipidemia, blood pressure, dysglycemia) and their associated nutritional factors. This monitoring should include periodic assessment of BMI and waist circumference, analysis of blood lipid and glucose profiles, and measurement of blood pressure.
