[B] The following conclusions are supported by fair evidence:
Although an association between low dietary intakes of linoleic acid and the development of duodenal ulcers has been suggested, a clinical trial does not support the benefit of increasing dietary linoleic acid intake for the treatment of duodenal ulcers.
