Adults and children with SLE should be referred to a dietitian early on in the disease process for a general dietary assessment. The nutrition assessment of an individual with SLE may include the following parameters using NCP terminology: 
Anthropometric Measurements
  • Height/Length
  • Weight
  • Weight Change
  • BMI
