[A] The following conclusions are supported by good evidence:
Immediately prior to feeding, cold refrigerated infant formula can be warmed to either room temperature or body temperature depending on the preference of the infant.
  • Care should be taken to prevent scalds to the preparer and infant, as scalds have occurred.
  • Formula should never be warmed in a microwave as scalding could occur.
 
Growth assessment is the most useful tool for defining the nutritional status and health in children.
