Teledietetics is the use of telephone and electronic communications between the consumer/patient and dietitian to deliver nutrition-related services. A variety of nutritional care and health promotion activities may be provided through information and communications technologies (ICTs) including, but not limited to, interventions (such as education, advice, reminders) and monitoring of interventions (1,2).
