  • stopping further weight gain in an individual whose weight has been steadily increasing
  • improvements in physical and mental health
  • small maintainable weight losses or more extensive weight losses
  • improvements in eating, exercise and other behaviours.
Supplementation can be considered as an adjunct, with the benefit to risk ratio well considered and evaluated.
