Children with CKD stages 3 to 5 and children on dialysis who are oligoanuric (decreased or absent production of urine) require a fluid restriction to prevent fluid overload.

[B] The following conclusions are supported by fair evidence:
To monitor nutritional status and growth, it is recommended that the following measures be used in combination for children with CKD stages 2 to 5 and children on dialysis
