Disease Etiology
Exercise-induced anaphylaxis (EIA) has been defined as “the onset of allergic symptoms during, or immediately after, exercise, the clinical signs being various degrees of urticaria, angioedema, respiratory and gastrointestinal signs and even anaphylactic shock” (1). Sensitivity to a specific food as a predisposing factor of EIA has been defined as food-dependant EIA (FDEIA) (2).
